'things last (no) longer than the amount of time it exists for' (2017)

In collaboration with Ghida Hachicho.

‘things last (no) longer than the time it takes for them to happen’ is a video, audio and sculptural installation that attempts to further complicate the abstract notion of ‘the edge’.

Taking the geographical edge of Britain and a ferry’s journey across The Channel as subjects, ‘things last (no) longer…’ treats ‘the edge’ as a cultural phenomenon in order to challenge established understandings of current geopolitical issues.

Shown at Goldsmiths College, as part of the MA Performance Making degree show, June 2017.
